landscaPe w. vieW to undertheseA

This painting was “upgraded” recently from the original (wish i could remember which one….) with which I grew tired.  You can still see elements of the original in the pale section in bottom half, left of center.  Now, the original composition is submerged under the water line (thin green line at bottom 1/3 which is supposed to be at eye level to the viewer).  The landscape is very structured and geometric and includes images from both day and night (top left).

  1. the bottom 1/3 of this image is a view under the sea. kelp, attached to the sea bed floats upward toward the light. the top 2/3 of the painting represents the environment; mostly redwood trees that are abundant near the pacific coast.
