mai bloom

Glorious cubist painting! Nothing about this composition makes sense (anatomically) which is why I love it.  The blue woman is hiding a tiny infant in her arms, according to a friend’s interpretation.  I should have called it “Madonna!”  The schock of orange hair stands out against the cool blues and greens. Otherwise, it is consistent with many of my colorfields that contain large geometric shapes or patches of color.  The image design came from a facebook page (Waltraud) who is sitting beneath it in a Viennese cafe?  I loved it and painted my own interpretation.  i have no idea who the original aRtist is, but i wish to give credit where credit is due:  Masterful!
